So! I'm pregnant! Thought this might be a nice idea so all of my friends and family can keep up with my daily thoughts, feelings and goings-on during my pregnancy.

Cute Picture

Here's a new pic of Andrew in an outfit he just got from our friend Geoff:

Update

Wow! I can't believe Andrew is 6 weeks old already! It seems to have gone so quickly and I'm loving every second of it!

Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been up here helping us out. My Mum and Dad were here for a few weeks staying around the corner in a cabin. The amount of stuff they got done while they were here was astounding! Dad had already done so much when he was here a few months ago, and then came back and worked his guts out again! He must love me an awful lot - but that's good, cos I love him an awful lot too! While he was putting up shelves, fixing a leaky roof, cleaning out my fridge, tidying my pantry, mowing lawns, and pulling weeds, Mum was cleaning like a demon! She washed and washed and washed! Lucky she had gloves on or she wouldn't have any hands left at all! She cleaned floors, washed dishes, washed clothes, cleaned bathrooms, pulled weeds, weeds and more weeds, not to mention just looking after me and Andrew. Guys, I really can't thank you enough.

Just as my parents left, Daniel's arrived. Again, they helped out so much. They stayed with us and had to sleep on our couch so that meant putting up with me and Andrew getting up at all hours for night feeds. They helped put him to sleep and kept him occupied at 6am while I went back to bed for more sleep. They cooked us dinner and just generally helped out where-ever they could. I was really glad they could come up too! So a big thanks to Nan and Grandad too!

A couple of days after Daniel's parents left, my best friend, Sarah, came up to stay for a few days. She also stayed on the couch and had to put up with us getting up at night. The first night she was here Kate also came up to stay with us and Sarah cooked us the best lamb roast I've had in ages! (The last one was when we were at Sarah's place for dinner in Hobart - i.e. she cooked that one too!) She was great looking after Andrew too, especially during the mornings so I could get more sleep. Thanks for everything Sa!

So now Andrew and I have had a couple of weeks by ourselves and getting into a bit more of a routine. We've been to the shops a few times and visiting a couple of times. I had a hospital appointment one day around lunch-time and then went to pick up Daniel so we could all have lunch together. It was really lovely to catch up in the middle of the day. After dropping him back at work we went to visit friends for the afternoon. It was a really lovely day. We've also had a few people come and visit us too, so there hasn't been a time when I've been bored. Even on the days we just stay home with the two of us there is always cleaning and washing to be done so I'm always busy.

Last weekend was the first time we've had just the three of us without having to go somewhere or have visitors over so we really made the most of it. We slept in (Andrew came for cuddles in bed with Mum and Dad which was lovely and we all got some more sleep), we went for a walk along the beach in the afternoon and on the Sunday we went to a shopping centre and bought me a couple of new tops to wear. It was just really great to spend time together with just us three! That weekend was really the first time we started seeing Andrew smile too! Very special!

Yesterday we went to a BBQ for Daniel's work and had a lovely time too. Andrew got lots of cuddles and slept a lot of the day. It was really hot but there was a huge outdoor entertaining area undercover and a pleasant breeze most of the day so it was lovely!

Andrew and I leave for Hobart two weeks on Thursday so I've really got to start thinking about what we need to take. I'm really looking forward to it, but it will be very sad to leave Daniel behind for a week before he follows us. I can imagine a lot of phone calls happening then.

Well that's all for now I think. Might not blog again until after Christmas unless something exciting happens.
